Founded in November 2012 by Jim Daley and Jim Reynolds, with help from their daughter Michelle Wright, Present California features artisanal food, chocolates, spa products, and more.

The gift store in downtown Los Altos closed in February 2023 when the Jims retired. In August 2023 Michelle relaunched Present’s online store. Select gifts, including past store favorites and custom gift boxes, are available for shipping, delivery and pickup for birthday gifts, corporate gifts, weddings, holidays, anniversaries, hostess gifts, college care packages, thank you gifts, and more. May 2019: Present Gift Store Expands in Size and Concept

Present, a family-owned and operated gift store (now online only) was started in downtown Los Altos, and expanded its retail area and product lines in 2019. Organized by intention, the thoughtfully curated shop made finding gifts, creating gift baskets, and preparing them to hand deliver or ship easy and fun. - News
